In the 1940s and ‘50s, I heard several songs about the land of Canaan. This morning I was trying without success to think of the titles of some of those songs. So I did a search on RUclips and found several titles (see below), none of which I recognize from my childhood. I do think I remember some geography, however. If memory serves, Judea is mentioned in the Bible and it was part of a larger land area that had once been known as the land of the Canaanites. So why would there be more than a dozen songs about Canaan and none (to my knowledge) about Judea? There has been controversy about land in the Middle East for as long as I can remember. There doesn’t seem to be much question about whether the Nile River Delta is Egypt - and has been called that for thousands of years but, in the area described in popular media (in the United States) as Israel and Gaza, it seems that to use any of the popular names for the land of the Canaanites is to imply an opinion about who is “right” and who is “wrong” in the current phase of the conflict. I don’t think any of the antagonists in the current phase of the conflict are entirely in the right. So what name or names for the contested land area can be used without being understood as favoring one nation or ethnic group over another? You always say that because you know Satan covers your eyes up so you can't see the truth and if you can't see the truth you're going to think like you think the way you do put Jesus Christ did die on a cross for your sins he was buried and he did rise again on the third day for you even when you reject him and choose not to believe in him
You'll believe it when you see Jesus Christ standing their face to face but then he's going to tell you that your name is not written in the Lamb's book of Life to depart from him and you are to be cast into the lake of fire and you will burn forever you burn a life forever more into the lake of fire and it's just the way it is does it have to be that way you can accept him as Lord and Savior and have your sins forgiven and actually enter into heaven and not go to a devil's hell and burn forever and I'd appreciate it if you took me seriously
You always say that because you're lost and your sins people who are lost in their sins are not going to see the truth because Satan is got your eyes covered up he's got your eyes covered up you're not going to see the truth if you don't see the truth then you're not going to think this is true but once your eyes are open to the truth then you will realize without spending time with God you're not going to know you just have a hard time believing that heaven is a better place than where you are now suffering and pain and anxiety and all these things you deal with on a daily basis you don't have any of that in heaven
Father I pray in Jesus name but you will open up this man's eyes and help him to see the truth take the blindfold off of his eyes help him to see the truth and Lord God I thank you God for helping him to accept you as Lord and savior and to have his sins washed away by your precious blood help him to believe that you are the risen son of God who died on the cross who was buried in a rose again on the third day so that our sins can be forgiven and washed away so we can go to heaven is in Jesus name I pray amen
